How to get to Brunei

Plan Your Travel
Reaching Brunei is simple and convenient. Direct flights connect the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan, to major cities, while land and sea routes offer easy access from neighboring Southeast Asian countries. No matter how you choose to travel, Brunei's efficient entry points make it an accessible destination for everyone.

By Air

The easiest way to get to Brunei is by flying with our national airline, Royal Brunei Airlines (RB), which connects to 22 destinations across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Australia. Its main hub, Brunei International Airport, is just a short 15-minute drive from the capital, so you won't have to worry about long commutes to and from the airport.

In addition to Royal Brunei Airlines, several other carriers serve Brunei International Airport. AirAsia and Malaysia Airlines offer flights from Kuala Lumpur, Singapore Airlines from Singapore and Cebu Pacific from Manila.

By Land

Planning a road trip to Brunei? Great news! There are four land entry points you can use. The most convenient is the Sungai Tujoh Control Post in Belait District, located on the southwestern side of the country near the vibrant Malaysian city of Miri, in Sarawak.

Another option is the Kuala Lurah Control Post in Brunei-Muara District, just a short drive from the northern Sarawak town of Limbang. If you're heading in from the east, you can enter through the Labu or Ujong Jalan Control Posts in Temburong District, perfect for those traveling from the Malaysian state of Sabah.
