A hidden jungle gem in Belait district, Wasai Wong Kadir rewards an easy forest trek with cool cascades, natural plunge pools, and serene picnic spots beneath the trees.
Wasai Wong Kadir, located less than a kilometer away from Mendaram Kecil, is an easy trek, taking about 45 minutes to an hour to reach. This wasai is easily scalable, providing a small outcrop for swimmers to launch themselves off of into the water. Visitors to this location will be able to enjoy reconnecting with themselves amongst the natural surroundings and also get refreshed bathing in the cold waters. It is also a popular picnic spot for the locals.
For those without access to a private car, we recommend using Dart (think of it as Brunei’s Uber or Grab) which is the most convenient option for traveling in Brunei. While it provides hassle-free booking and convenience, keep in mind that pricing may vary.
